So as we discussed last saturday, are ppl still interested in having another meet over the weekend of the 23rd or 24th? Hopefully some of the folks who couldnt make it last week could attend (+miles and jules' bots). What do we all wanna do?
Also, 22nd is good for me Aaron, I think you have my number already, just ping me when you have an eta.
Ps. Welcome to the fun Erica, strong first showing too , and thx m&j for putting up vids.

Yep we will be there. Either day is good for us.
Thanks for hosting the event last weekend to Scott. Sorry we weren't there with robots but we were suffering from injuries. Was still fun to see everyone and meet the new robots.

23/24 August or 23/34 September?
If August, maybe we should just have a build morning for the arena (I think the door work won't take more then a few hours) and then test it by smashing some robots in the afternoon? _________________ https://www.halfdonethings.com/

From recollection, the modifications are only required on two panels, a corner panel and the door panel. We need to cut the angle strip off the corner panel, then position it correctly on the door panel and reweld it. The reformer corner panel then needs holes drilled into it so it can be bolted to ever other regular panel.
The door itself I want to weld some better latches to as the current ones are all bent out of shape and hard to make work. I can bring some catches and extra steel to make mounting points for them. Tool wise, I think we can do the whole lot with just a welder, grinder, drill + bits and some clamps. _________________ https://www.halfdonethings.com/

hi guys, apologies, I'm really not used to keeping up on forums... The proposed plans for saturday should be fine. Is it possible to bring the requisite equipments please. I'm somewhat leery of lending out my parents' equipment.
Also, I'm afraid I've got some project work for uni to get done, so I might not be able to help beyond the afternoon (if arena modding drags on into the evening) soz
