I'm thinking about building an ant-weight bot with my son, so I'm interested to know who is doing ant weight in Sydney. Are there any regular tournaments?
There is a Beetle area in Seven Hills don't think there is a regular antweight competition. But checkout what the SA guys have been doing on the forum. They have pretty much started up their own comp.
If you have a few people keen you can get something going pretty easily.

Unless you were thinking of 3D printing an antweight, a beetleweight is easier to build (less microsurgery) and only slightly more expensive. If you haven't already found it, here is Glen's beetleweight building guide:
