You can still convert new videos to old links.

I was going to try and embed a video a while back, and I discovered that youtube had deprecated an old method of embedding (Iframes ?) that used to be easy.

I found some info saying that you just had to do x, and y and it would still work, but I couldnt get it to do so in the few minutes I had at that time.

If anyone knows a simple way to embed videos, please post it and we can put it in a sticky or something, I see phpBBv3 has instructions for creating a custom BBcode to do it, but custom BBcodes arent on phpBBv2. I could probably hack up something if someone can tell me a way of embedding that does work.

I'd also like to see the link behaviour changed to allow me to open links in new tab with a middle click... such a pain!

as long as you've backed everything up... you should be fine! don't forget to tick "Add CREATE TABLE lines" (not ticked by default) when creating the MySQL backups... or you'll have a shit time manually re-creating every table if you ever need to use it

So should I throw some of the new dates on the front page?

This has been 6 months. How would everyone feel about the Robowars.com.au page as a front page?
