My son (14) and I (51) are wanting to get in contact with a local group and start building. We live in Newcastle, NSW. Anyone with contacts here?? Thanks.
There's no local group - as far as I know I'm the only one in the Hunter at the moment.
I only got into it last year so my bots are pretty basic - but you're more than welcome to check them out.
There's a few builders in Sydney - no regular events at the moment but there will be a Sportsman Event at Vivid in June - definitely one to go to check out.

Hey,
If your new to Robowar This is the perfect forum to get knowledge But you got to Learn Skills.
It is better if you visit the local event at the first time than wasting money simply.
Ask builders How they did? Where do we get materials ? Ask the functionality of robot.
Write all the imp. Ponits and talk to them personaly if you have doubts.
Then start desiging and build your first bot.
