My 10yr old son and I are keen to get involved in this hobby but really have no idea where to begin. Appreciate any direction given cheers.

It can be a bit daunting to get started but there is heaps of good advice and expertise to help you along. First off, what size bot are you considering? We mostly do the small 150 gram antweights and the larger 13.6Kg featherweight class, there is also the Sportsman class, which is also 13.6Kg but but is more entry level. Also, what is your location so we can suggest the closest competitions?
