That will give you all the information under the sun. Generally steel is stronger then aluminium, but Aluminium can be heat treated and with different grade, will out perform mild steel. But in the end, tempered steel like Hardox kicks Aluminium in the teeth, but weight's nearly 4 times as much! _________________ https://www.halfdonethings.com/

Technically Hardox doesn't get all its properties from the heat treatment. Its more to do with the chemical compisition of the alloying elements. The different grades of Hardox are made by different heat treatment processes, mainly the length of time they were tempered. _________________ Get Some!!!
