Builders Reports Guidelines
Nice to see everyone get things rolling here so quickly.
Can I suggest that we standardize on the Topic Headings with something like "Robot Name - Team Name - State" for each bot so that the list of Robots is easy to follow in the future ?
I'm trying to figure out how to link across to the photo album pics too.. cant seem to make it click yet. I'll let you know when I do.
regards
Brett

I dont yet know why the inline picture tag "[img]" doesnt seem to work to photo album photos yet, but in the meantime while I figure that out, you can use the [url] tag in your messages to link across to a pic you have uploaded to the album like this
[url][<url to photo>][/url]
you can copy and paste the pic url you want after displaying it in a window.

I just edited a few Thread Titles to include team names and locations and moved the Team Vertex thread to general chatter, since it didnt really say anything about progress on a particular bot, but more "out bots are still in the trailer and I'm thinking of a new design".. sorry andrew

An addition to the builders reports guidlines..
In general
, can people please try and refrain from posting too much in the way of irrelevant quips and one-line responses in
other
peoples build reports ?
You can wisecrack and fill up your own thread with as much waffle as you like, and some builders might not mind if you do so in theirs in response, but lets try and keep the build reports reasonably interesting for people to read without having to wade through too much off-topic humour. Thats what general chatter is for..
I've noticed the signal/noise ratio has been getting a bit worse recently (ie, people are posting silly responses that dont really contribute much to the forum).. lets try and keep it down to a dull roar shall we people ?
And remember, Mel (Team LeSheen) can be asked (via PM) to delete any messages in your own build report from other people that you feel is "polluting" your build report somewhat. _________________ Great minds discuss ideas. Average minds discuss events. Small minds discuss people

Thats Bretts (spockie-tech,s )own page he lets us use the forums he set up
to post in if you are lucky enough to win a big event your robot will get placed on the front page until some one else wins the next one .
If you wish to anounce dates of an event ect just send a pm to a moderator and they will post it in the anouncements thread . If you want to set up your own build report just click new topic in the build reports thread.
