Just go to the pull down menu "Help", then "about" to see what version you are running.

Operas new features are often well-disguised, so the interface doesnt get too cluttered. have a read through some of those links in the first message of the thread to get a run down on the new bells and whistles they have added to the core functions of speed and improved rendering.

"Best choice to whom loves deeply to the traditional mouse kind"... Laughing - Love that "Engrish" Wink

Why would you want a phone built into your mouse ? How are you supposed to use your computer and your "phone" at the same time. Use the side of your head as a mousepad ?

Glen ya piker come clean about how you now secretly cavort with fasterfox and all the other kinky extensions you use.

Seriously though folks
fasterfox is an addon for firefox that basically tweaks some connection settings (esp pipelining) and can make firefox perform drastically better on high latency connections (IE dialup or unwired)

Its also got support for prefetching of pages and it seems failry robust in not sucking ass with it.
(prefetching is now having glens babies btw)

Fasterfox = good mmmkay
there seems to be some evidence that it can be faster than opera
(eg glens test of robowars new posts load, IE 7s, opera 4s and firefox 2s)
i'm on cable so i dont see that much in the way of difference though it does seem somewhat more zippy. (Precaching makes everything feel like its coming off LAN, it often feels faster than hitting the back button, but i turn it off most of the time, mainly for the sake of innocent web hosts out there and it not making that much difference to me anyway)
