Most of you guys would know of this due to my whinging, but need some advice now... Basically machine was bought with a '3 week manufacturing period' quoted and i assumed at least double that... this was late last year. I finally get sent this delightfully useless tracking number then poof, haven't heard anything from them.

Their forum is full of suckups and totally useless, advice 'keep waiting'. I paid through paypal, is there anyway I can force return of money due to non receipt of goods? It's only a 'cheap' cnc but $1200 or so is an expensive lesson.... _________________ ( •_•)
Send em an email saying that if you don't have evidence of the product being shipped, you will be lodging a complaint with Paypal and getting a refund. _________________ https://www.halfdonethings.com/

Good call, strongly leaning towards doing that. Paypal says a dispute must be within 45days of a transaction but i'm sure they won't ignore it if I email them. _________________ ( •_•)

Is the Paypal account linked to a local credit card? It might be different with Paypal, but vendors are not supposed to charge your credit card until they ship, so that might be another avenue to getting your money back.
The other thing to try if that fails is to threaten to drag them thru the dirt on related forums.

It might have gone through paypal but did you do it via credit card > paypal? if so the credit card mob will still cover you.
paypal is probably your best bet
I'd send them an email, saying whats happened and what you intend to do about it now just as a "heads up" to them. _________________ Mechanical engineers build weapons, civil engineers build targets

Hehe all valid points! I'll mention it to them and see if it gets a response.... _________________ ( •_•)
I have waited 4 months for the product to be delivered, I understood
at the time of order there was a possibly 8 week manufacturing time
plus shipping time, whilst i have recieved a "tracking number" all it
indicates is that you filled out a postage form over a month ago and
have progressed no further with filling my order. A more cynical mind
would believe all these delays have been a carefully constructed plan
to use up the time paypal allows for disputes. Whilst I understand the
difficulty in manufacturing a product, there is no excuse for this
level of delay.
I am forced therefore to notify you that unless I receive a full
refund including fees and charges or delivery of the product within 14
days I will be performing a chargeback through my credit card.
Lawl... Ok cleared up, they sent it with incorrect weight, so actually that weren't at fault... they did take forever to clear up the issue though. Being shipped via FedEx apparently. See how that goes. TRK 790367436486 _________________ ( •_•)
