It's a cool idea. The only robot I've seen similar is
Pump.

My my, what a large blade you have! Looks good can you stick some plastic under the weapon shaft so it drives a bit better? _________________ www.demon50s.com - Minimoto parts

Hey guys- thanks for the feedback😄 Good idea on the plastic there Glen- i could drill out the tip of the m16 bolt head that rubs along the floor-and then shove some breadbord in the hole🍔 Brilliant that should help -i forgot that the bolt on this version doesn't spin - just slides around♨️ _________________ Miles Blow - Julie Pitts

Well Tosser ended up being called Flipper and had a dolphin theme for gladstone
Looking very cute before the event
After the event looking a little worse for wear- but performed quite well- won all of its sportsman fights and only was beaten by wanda ( thats where most of its damage came from to though face slasher did do a bit of a face slash to) unfortunatly flipper and pickasso didnt get to fight- so will be interesting to see them fight at the next sportman event-my favourite fight with flipper was with praying mantis - its seriously fast for a 3s robot and both bots did some serious flips on each other i think Flipper scraped through with the win because Richard lost a drive chain just before yhe end if the match-was a damn fun event in anycase and good work Don for organizing 😎 _________________ Miles Blow - Julie Pitts

Poor old Flipper had a bit of a meld down at our ipswich robotics sports group meet yesterday😱
Not sure exactly what happened as all its electronics is still working- but the lid slammed shut and that jammed the motor - which then made the lipo start smoking up- when i got hone -i plugged in a new motor and everything was working- in thinking the limit switch either moved or didnt stop the winch so it just jammed its self on - it melted the printed switch so there was some serious shorting going on-
Lucky Dion was there to suggest using a car battery jumper pack to open the bot - because the terminals at the back of the winch is exposed - lucky its possible to do that- as the locking mechanism on the other side of the winch was completly jammed😱
Planning to keep this design but rebuild thr bottom half in 4mm ali instead of the 5 mm aluboard that its currently made from🤖 _________________ Miles Blow - Julie Pitts
