Barton Robotics Things For Sale
SOLD
Well i have basically lost all interest in robots so I'm planning on selling everything that i no longer need such as Misfortune and various other things.
For Sale - 80% finished Egg Beater Robot
Selling it with almost everything needed for it to work which include:
- 700kv Brushless Inrunner (aka the blue inrunner) + Nice Aluminium Mounts
- 100amp Sentilion ESC
- 2 x 18v DSE Drive motors + UHMW Mounts
- Scorpion XXL + Box (though it is currently getting fixed atm)
- 1 Fully assembled 6 cell A123 Pack
- 6 A123 Cells to be made into a new pack
- 3.5kg Egg Beater weapon
- 2 x T5 Pulleys (needs a belt)
- 2 x Angular Contact Bearings + Mounts
- 2 x Jake Wheels
I think i have covered everything but yeah basically whatever is in the above photo is for sale.
Being 80% finished there are some things to do to get it working such as:
- Drill like 12 holes in the base to mount the motors
- Purchase a belt which is like $15 or something
- some strengthening to the frame which is rather important
Some details about the robot:
Its the 3rd version of its original which has been improved on each time until now which i believe this one has no weaknesses.
There are some videos on youtube
http://www.youtube.com/user/dyl30
of the last version in combat to give a rough idea what itll be like except tonnes better.
atm it all weighs from memory 12.5kg so still have a good 1kg to play with (heavier beater ).
but yeah its rather simple robot, what you see is what it is, requires no speciality tools to repair and maintain.
I also can provide all drawings which can be sent to any oxycutting place for a whole new frame to be cut out as well as the beater.
looking at about $600 for the lot not including postage but open to other offers. serious offers only (looking at you glen )
I'll leave it as a whole buy for 2 weeks or so if not sold then i will start selling each thing individually.
so yeah let us know if your interested.
over the next few days i will also be putting more stuff on here to be sold such as spares, beetleweight and antweight parts etc _________________ Barton Robotics Youtube Channel:

Ha ha. Glen doesn't have 600 bucks .
It always has been a nice lil robot so temptedddd. Will
leave it for some new guy maybe to buy first and if it's still
unclaimed in a weeks time will chat further.
I gotta do same with my old stuff. Try sell orbits discs and pulleys and maybe start selling parts from rapture as it's future is uncertain. _________________ Andrew Welch, Team Unconventional Robotics

theres a seller on ebay from NSW that sells genuine green heatshrinked cells cheaper then most, i think his ebay name is LIGHTNING EV or something like that as is his company name (he had a website as well but ive lost the url). i bought a ton of them from him and they definitely work better then the hongkong/china supplied ones no doubt
