Thought I'd put up a little build report for my antweight arena as I build it
Design wise, it's going to be around 800x800x500 with the ability to disassemble into a semi flat pack for transporting.
I have a few ideas for it like an arena timer, tap out buttons, some LED lighting (To help with filming) and a motorized pit (tied into the arena timer).
Today, I picked up the a few lengths of 20x20x1.6 RHS and 12mm MDF

It went in the Paseo.... With a struggle >.>
The arena is also being designed to fit into an AW11... (without passenger seat) _________________ https://www.halfdonethings.com/

I almost do these days
We are opening our third branch in NSW this weekend (Grafton), so I'm frequently hoping the boarder these days for work.
An 800x800x500 arena should just fit snug between the rear window and the boot spoiler on the AW11 (With an NA Engine cover) and should only require a pair of bungy cords to secure it down. _________________ https://www.halfdonethings.com/

Nice!
It'd be even better if you could get some autonomous antweight fights happening in it while you drive _________________ <Patrician|Away> what does your robot do, sam

That looks sweet already Aaron! Makes me wish that i lived in NSW or QLD because most of the events there have loads of people. _________________ Viggy!

I kinda got over the idea of flat packing it...
It would require more materials, more work building it and more time.
Since there is already an ant arena in Brisbane, it will be pretty rare for me to have to shift my arena to events. The legs will be trimmed to size soon and the attachable legs mad up for it....
does it fit inside the spoiler on the deck sideways if you remove teh snorkel (or put it on the snorkel-less one?) _________________ <Patrician|Away> what does your robot do, sam
